With over 18 years of combined experience in marketing, graphic design, and business, I offer you a winning combination uncommon with a typical freelance graphic designer: creative skills combined with an in-depth understanding of marketing and branding principles. Friends, colleagues, and clients often refer to me as a “brand addict,” because I firmly believe in the power of branding and consistent messaging across all marketing channels for ultimate long-term business success.
My history spans over 12 years as a corporate Marketing Project Manager, taking award-winning projects from concept to completion to implementation in multi-media marketing channels: new brand launches, print collateral and marketing communications, direct marketing, web, trade shows, and events.
Having “worked in the trenches” both internally with corporate executive and management teams and externally with graphic designers, marketing/ad/creative agencies, web developers, photographers, market researchers, printers, fulfillment houses, and the like gives me a unique perspective – and offers you a unique area of expertise – in addressing creative design and marketing challenges.
Pursuing my entrepreneurial spirit, I left Corporate America and ventured into the food service industry where I developed, owned, and operated a full-service Brazilian-themed restaurant in San Diego, California for five years.
Another adventure was soon to begin when I became a self-taught freelance graphic designer and launched Studio Skye. For nearly 5 years, now, I have been providing multi-media graphic design and marketing services to small businesses, mid-size organizations, and corporations.
I pride myself on creativity, professionalism, and efficiency. Simply put, I care about you and your business and how I can be a virtual asset in helping you achieve your marketing goals and objectives on time and within budget. I would like you to view me as your virtual marketing partner without the costly overhead: there when you need me and not in your face or occupying a space when you don’t!
